Apollo’s Hegemony Vitamin D3 is a dietary supplement containing vitamin D3 in softgels containing 2000 IU of the vitamin each. Unlike most vitamin D3 supplements, this product contains vitamin D3 from a non-animal source, which makes it vegan and vegetarian friendly.

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), sometimes referred to as the sunshine vitamin, is the main form of vitamin D. It can be synthesized in skin exposed to UV-B radiation out of 7-dehydrocholesterol, which is located in cell membranes.
